Tinnitus Assessment

No two cases of tinnitus are the same.

That’s why, at The Tinnitus Clinic, our initial assessment and consultation focuses on you: your tinnitus, your lifestyle and your needs.

What happens during an assessment appointment?

In a one-and-a-half hour consultation, one of our expert audiologists will review your relevant medical history and perform a range of diagnostic tests to assess your audiological profile. These tests are designed to pinpoint your tinnitus tone, and identify any associated hearing loss that may be worsening the condition.

Based on these results, your audiologist will be able to evaluate your tinnitus prognosis and the treatment options available to you. There will also be plenty of time for you to ask questions and explore self-help techniques.

Three simple steps to tinnitus relief

Whether you’ve been recently diagnosed with tinnitus and are looking for a second opinion, or you have lived with the condition for decades and are wondering about the latest developments, The Tinnitus Clinic team can provide you with expert advice based on the latest developments in tinnitus and neuroscientific research.

The initial assessment can take place in our clinic in London or Manchester, and costs just £185. Appointments are usually available within two weeks.

Patients that have PruHealth health insurance can claim the cost of an assessment once they have been referred by an ENT Consultant. PruHealth advise that customers get the assessment pre-authorised by PruHealth’s Customer Care Team before commencing.
