Tinnitus Clinic audiologist receives nod from Audiologist of the Year panel

Senior Audiologist, Mr Rekesh Patel of The Tinnitus Clinic in London is being commended for his high level of professionalism, care and commitment demonstrated to patients by one of the most prominent hearing related panels in the UK.

The Audiologist of the Year competition, which attracts hundreds of entries from across the UK, is an annual competition which allows patients to put forward their hearing professional for delivering outstanding care to them over the years.

Paula Brinson-Pyke of Rayovac, the organisers of the competition said: “Our judges were impressed by both the number and quality of Mr Patel’s nominations, which clearly demonstrated his dedication to his job and patients.”

The competition which is in its eighth year also provides a platform for patients to share their inspirational stories about their hearing care specialists who have gone above and beyond their call of duty.

In response to receiving a certificate of commendation from the panel Mr Patel says: "Tinnitus patients are so rewarding to work with. Although it’s my job, it’s so nice to read the citations which our patients have put forward. To know that our expertise is appreciated, being recognised for your efforts is even more gratifying."
