Acoustic Neuromodulation treatment results presentations in Berlin

  May 06, 2014

Clinicians and researchers associated with The Tinnitus Clinic are presenting their experiences and data at the prestigious International Tinnitus Seminar (I.T.S.) in Berlin from the 21st to 24th May. The I.T.S. was created in 1983 to enable the free exchange of the latest scientific thoughts and experiences within the field of tinnitus research and practice. After over 30 years of tradition, this conference has become the principal international scientific event for tinnitus researchers and clinicians who strive to help those of us who are afflicted with tinnitus. This year the conference boasts an impressive line up of speakers and international authorities.

Prof. Peter Tass from the Jülich Research Centre, who developed the Acoustic CR Neuromodulation therapy, will be revealing his latest neuroimaging research relating to brain networks and tinnitus intensity. Our Principal Scientific Audiologist from our Harley Street clinic, Mark Williams, and German partner ENT Consultant, Dr Hannes Wurzer, will be presenting their results. Mark’s presentation details the clinically significant improvements in a study of 66 patients’ tonal tinnitus who underwent Acoustic Neuromodulation therapy over a 22 – 26 week period.
