Phonak CROS hearing aid

  October 26, 2011

The fantastic new Phonak CROS hearing aids have now arrived at The Tinnitus Clinic. If you have hearing loss in one ear – or in one ear more than the other – the Phonak CROS may be the solution you're looking for.

How it works

Imagine you're sitting at a dinner party, and the people to your left are trying to engage you in conversation. However it's a loud room and the hearing in your left ear definitely isn't as good as it is in your right. In the past, you may have had to ask your fellow dinner guests to speak up or turn your head so your good ear was facing towards them.

However, with the Phonax CROS digital hearing aid, the sound coming from your left side will be picked up on a microphone and wirelessly transmitted across to your right ear, allowing you to hear and participate in the conversation.

The Phonax CROS is available both as an in-ear and a behind-the-ear device that can be fitted to your specific ear measurements by the expert audiologists at the Tinnitus Clinic. We also offer a range of other digital hearing aids.
