Following on from its successful use in Germany and here in the UK, Acoustic CR® Neuromodulation with the NTR Neurostimulatorhas been approved by the American health authority FDA (Food and Drug Administration).
The new tinnitus device was submitted for examination by ANM, the German company that developed the product after more than ten years of neuroscientific research at Julich Research Centre.
The approval came from the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), whose role is to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medical products in order to safeguard the health of the American population. Their approval means that further steps can now be taken to bring this new therapy to the US market.
In the UK, Acoustic CR® Neuromodulation is available exclusively from The Tinnitus Clinic, both at our Harley Street clinic and our new Manchester consulting rooms.
